8StartButton — программа, которая не только возвращает в Windows 8 традиционную кнопку и меню Пуск, но и добавляет некоторые полезные функции: можно будет быстро выключить, перезагрузить или заблокировать компьютер с помощью простого щелчка мыши.

Кроме этого, в меню появятся такие полезные команды, как запуск редактора системного реестра, диспетчера устройств и некоторые другие. Это — далеко не все дополнительные опции, которые можно будет получить при использовании 8StartButton. Например, в настройках программы можно поставить соответствующую галку, и тогда операционная система при каждой своей загрузке будет автоматически переключаться на классический рабочий стол Windows (правда, с небольшой задержкой, так что новый «Начальный экран» все же будет какое-то время виден).
